1. Respect yourself
1.1 Tell the truth. A lie is when you knowingly give a false description of facts. Giving a false description of things that aren’t necessarily facts is manipulative, and is also a lie.
1.2 Make your actions consistent with your words. Avoid making promises you may not be able to keep.
1.3 Take responsibility for yourself and be a good example to others. Recognize your failures to keep promises or tell the truth. Go out of your way to make sure those affected by your failures are aware of your recognition of that failure.
1.4 Introspect often. Make time to look at yourself and to review your actions. Recognize your place in the universe.
1.4.1 Remember that when you are in touch with your true, inner spirit, there is nothing the universe will not deliver to you. But also remember that it takes a lot of effort to maintain that connection.
1.4.2 Remember that your human experience in this thing we call "life" is nothing in comparison to the power of your true spirit and the totality of the universe.
2. Respect others
2.1 Recognize others rights.
2.1.1 Do not kill. Others have the right to live.
2.1.2 Do not demand obedience. Others own their lives, and have the right to make their own choices to pursue happiness as they see fit.
2.1.3 Do not steal. Others have the right to own property.
2.1.3.1 Others have the right to claim ownership over parts of nature which they use their talents and energy to improve.
2.1.3.2 Others have the right to claim ownership over things which they have acquired through honest trade.
2.2 Do not be a burden to others by expecting them to take care of your needs.
2.3 Do not covet others: Be happy for others success and happiness. If you have negative feelings by seeing others happiness, take a look at yourself first.
2.4 Share sexuality carefully. Our sexuality was given to us to allow us to reproduce and raise healthy children. It is also there to enjoy a special and unique love relationship with other adults that is mutually fulfilling. Avoid sexual activity which is not fulfilling to those ultimate purposes.
2.4.1 Support the family unit. Children should grow up with as much direct contact with their biological mother and father as possible. In the absense of one of the biological parents, a substituting person should fulfill the role as if they were the biological parent.
3. Give to others
3.1 Support community. Support the construction of a society that lives by and teaches these principles.
3.2 Support justice. A crime is committed when life, liberty, or property has been damaged or destroyed through the ignorance of these principles.
3.2.1 Support the reasonable use of force to compensate those who are victims of crime. But do not blindly support authority in the name of justice. You cannot give rights to authority figures that you do not have yourself.
3.2.2 Do not obsess over crime prevention. Authoritative measures to prevent criminal activity are often more damaging than allowing the potential activity to proceed.
3.3 Give love. Love is the act of giving selflessly without expectation of reciprocation. Make time in your life to practice love towards others as you would wish others would take time to practice love towards you.
3.4 Give mercy. Do not act in anger or take actions against others for purely punitive purposes. We may find that we need to remind others of these principles. But that reminder is only virtuous if it is done through the practice of giving love.
3.5 Give wisdom. Share these principles with others. But never be forceful in that sharing. Only share when others are interested in learning. Always remember the best way to teach these principles is to set an example by living them.
3.6 Give clothing, food, and shelter. If you have abundance, share with those who don’t. Do not waste when there are those in need.
